As you might expect from a title like "Fathers' Day," this is a family movie. And what a family! Can you spell "dysfunctional?" A runaway boy with three fathers. A worried Mom whose scheming makes Machiavelli look like Ghandi. And a third wife who could be an ex-wife any second now. To help you make sense of it all, we've drawn you a picture. (Well, we've taken a few snapshots, anyway.) As to conclusions, well, those you'll have to draw yourself.

Carrie
Meet Carrie (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), wife of Jack. She was concerned when Jack left town suddenly; and a phone call to his hotel in San Francisco did nothing to ease her mind. Then again, Jack did tell her he was helping a friend take a shower. Now while Jack and Dale are out looking for Scott, Carrie is out looking for Jack. When she finds him, Jack the bigshot lawyer could find himself in court -- divorce court.

Colette
And here's Colette (Nastassja Kinski), mother of Scott. If this was your Mom, would you leave home? Not one to sit idly by while her son is missing, Colette put the case to Dale and Jack. And now things are totally out of control.

Scott
Here's Scott (Charlie Hofheimer), the boy with three fathers. When the going at home got tough, Scott got going. He was last seen leaving home with a teenage girl who looks like trouble. Scott's Mom, Colette, was out of her mind with worry ... until she cooked up a scheme to make Jack and Dale track Scott down. Now she's just out of her mind!
